about
The Elpizo Foundation is an international 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering youth mental health and moral responsibility. Founded in 2023 by three passionate high school students from Los Gatos High School, the foundation aims to foster community bonding and dissipate the stigma surrounding youth mental health. These founding members, motivated by personal experiences and the challenges they observed among their peers, realized the critical need for proactive intervention and robust support systems within their community.
The word "elpizo" is derived from Greek, meaning "hope," which perfectly encapsulates the foundation's mission to bring hope and support to young individuals facing mental health issues.
